Patients suffering from back pain have many questions. A booklet written by physiatrist Sanjiv Lakhia, DO, of Carolina Neurosurgery & Spine Associates is providing some answers. The booklet, Back Talk, addresses many of the most common questions regarding the spine and causes of back pain.

 The Congress of Neurological Surgeons named a published paper co-authored by Carolina NeuroSurgery & Spine Associates neurosurgeon Matthew McGirt, MD, as Paper of the Year for 2018-2019 in the Socioeconomics, Health Policy and Law section.
