Carolina NeuroSurgery & Spine Associates Opens Donation Drive to Support Communities Impacted by Hurricane Helene

In response to the recent devastation caused by Hurricane Helene in Western North Carolina, Carolina NeuroSurgery & Spine Associates is stepping up to help the affected communities. Our hearts go out to those who have been impacted, and we are committed to doing what we can to support recovery and relief efforts. To that end, we are now accepting donations of essential supplies at all of our office locations.

How You Can Help

We encourage patients, staff, and community members to donate items that are most needed during this critical time. If you are able to contribute, please bring any of the following supplies to one of our locations.

  6. Specialty baby formula
  7. Distilled water
  8. Dehumidifiers
  9. Microban disinfectant spray
  10. Damp-Rid moisture absorbers
  11. Bee and hornet killer
  12. Baby blankets
  13. Tents (1, 2, and 4 person)
  14. Generators (7500W+)
  15. Garmin InReach Satellite Messengers (Mini 2 or handheld option)
  16. Water Testing Kits & Gravity Water Filters
  17. Starlinks
  18. Solar/Camping Showers
  19. Sleeping Bags rated for negative degree cold weather
  20. Propane & Butane Tanks
  21. Camping Stoves
  22. Solar Battery Banks (the more watts the better)
  23. Laundry Detergent / Powdered Tide
  24. 5 Gallon Buckets
  25. Chainsaw Lube + Sharpening Kits
  26. Hazmat Suits + Waterproof Rubber Boots above the ankle
  27. Flashlights/Headlamps
  28. Battery or Solar Lanterns
  29. Heavy-Duty Extension Cords

Each of these items will play a critical role in helping families and individuals rebuild and recover after the storm.
