Biography
Kimberly, NP-C, is dedicated to providing exceptional neurosurgical care at Carolina NeuroSurgery & Spine Associates. Known for her ability to piece together the “puzzle” of her patients’ symptoms and imaging results, she is passionate about developing personalized care plans—whether they involve surgery or conservative treatments. Kimberly thrives on the challenge of tailoring treatments to help her patients regain their health and quality of life.
Her journey into healthcare began in eighth grade, inspired by the nurses who provided extraordinary care to her cousin, born with Trisomy 18. That experience shaped her calling to become a healthcare provider, with a deep commitment to offering the same compassion and dedication she witnessed.
Kimberly’s approach to patient care centers on empathy and forward-thinking. She strives to treat each patient as if they were a member of her own family, ensuring they receive the highest level of care and attention. This philosophy fuels her commitment to improving the lives of those she serves.
After six years as an RN in the Neuro Trauma ICU, Kimberly transitioned to CNSA, where she already had strong connections with her surgical colleagues. She values the team’s collaborative and family-like atmosphere, which makes her work both rewarding and enjoyable.
PROFESSIONAL HIGHLIGHTS
Kimberly has a particular interest in lumbar fusions, a procedure she has mastered alongside her surgeons. Together, they have refined innovative techniques that enable most patients to go home the same day or after just one overnight stay—an achievement she takes great pride in.
