At Carolina Neurosurgery & Spine Associated (CNSA), Kristen Jones, PA-C specializes in degenerative spine disease, spinal trauma, and minimally invasive spine surgery. Her journey to becoming a healthcare provider is deeply personal and inspired by her experiences as a competitive athlete in gymnastics and Olympic weightlifting. Overcoming injuries during her athletic career gave her firsthand insight into the challenges of recovery and the importance of understanding one’s body. This inspired her to pursue a career where she could help others navigate similar journeys with confidence and support.
For Kristen, "putting patient care first" means creating a supportive environment where patients feel heard and cared for as individuals. She prioritizes teamwork and personalized care to ensure each patient’s goals are met with excellence and compassion. Her advice to patients? Stay curious and learn about your body, as knowledge is a powerful tool for self-advocacy and well-being.
Kristen first connected with CNSA during an elective clinical rotation, where she was positively impacted by the team’s dedication to patient education and inclusion. She admired the organization’s compassionate and collaborative approach, which aligns perfectly with her own philosophy of care. She looks forward to serving patients of all backgrounds and particularly enjoys connecting with athletes and coaches across all disciplines.
