Biography

Michael McCormick PA-C, supports Carolina NeuroSurgery & Spine Associates physicians with a specialization in neurosurgery. He sees patients in both the Charlotte and Ballantyne offices.

Michael started out his career in healthcare as a surgical tech and was drawn to the PA profession for the prospect of helping patients in a bigger way outside of the OR. He believes CNSA provides the highest quality neurosurgical care and service in the greater Piedmont region and is among the best in the nation. Michael appreciates that this group provides many opportunities for growth, and is proud to be part of the team!

Michael is originally from Rockford, IL outside of Chicago and has been married to his wife Nora for 20 years. They have 2 teenage children, Eliana & Evan. In his spare time, Michael enjoys hiking, playing the bass guitar, and working on his Jeep.

Although Michael was raised a Chicago Bear fan and bleeds orange & blue, he also loves seeing the Panthers win and is very excited about the blossoming Charlotte FC team!
